Dr. Erin Luft Katz
As a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Katz had the privilege of studying with Dr. Kramer. She was delighted when he asked her to join him in practice a few years after graduation. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Katz received awards in Implant Dentistry and Dental Care for Persons with Disabilities. The goal of her dental practice is for medicine and dentistry to work together for optimal health and wellness. She enjoys continuing her studies by keeping up with the latest dental technologies, especially those pertaining to preventive care.
Dr. Katz’s personal story includes meeting her future husband Alex during their freshman year at Tulane. They were married soon after graduation and are now the proud parents of a crazy little dog, a 8-year-old son, and a 6-year-old daughter. They have resided in Uptown New Orleans for almost 21 years and enjoy all that the city has to offer.
Megan LeBlanc
Dental Hygienist
Megan graduated from The Academy of Our Lady High School in Marrero, LA in 2010. After high school, Megan attended Southeastern Louisiana University before attending and graduating from the LSU School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. During her time at LSU, Megan was the recipient of the Tracy Helm Scholarship Award. She and her husband are the proud parents of a son and daughter. In her free time, Megan enjoys reading, exercising at the gym, and being with friends and family.
Stacey Gardner

Stacey graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School in Metairie, LA in 2014. After high school, Stacey attended Southeastern Louisiana University before attending and graduating from LSU School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Stacey joined the team at Smile Uptown in August 2020. She is thorough in her approach to dental care, and warmly greets each patient with a smile. Whether it’s your first hygiene appointment with Stacey or your tenth, you can expect to feel welcomed and cared for. Outside of the office, Stacey loves traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dog, Lucy.

Samantha Delahoussaye
Office Manager
Samantha is originally from New York but now calls New Orleans home. She brings close to a decade of experience in the dental field but also has over 18 years of management experience under her belt. Samantha was so excited to join the Smile Uptown team in 2021! She aims to make each patient feel welcome and well taken care of at every visit. She's an expert at guiding patients through the treatment process and assisting with financial and insurance questions. Her passion for dentistry shines through in her work! In her time off, she enjoys cooking, travelling and playing volleyball. She can also be found cheering on her daughter on the volleyball court and watching her dance on stage.
Courtney Schindler
Dental Assistant
Courtney graduated from Grace King High School in Metairie. After high school, she attended Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated from Delgado Community College. Courtney enjoys working with Dr. Katz and the team at Smile Uptown, and she looks forward to continuing her career here. She is an expert at digital impressions, Zoom whitening, and making you feel comfortable and at-ease during dental procedures. In her spare time outside of work, she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Julianna Santamaria
Dental Assistant
Julianna calls Kenner, LA home, and graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School. She then went on to attend Southeastern Louisiana University. Julianna has previously served as a classroom teacher for pre-k and kindergarten students, and is passionate about connecting with individuals through caring attention. In her spare time, she spends time with family, cheering for each other in soccer games and tournaments across the region.
